Damaged goods?

It would seem that the Cincinnati Reds are filing a complaint with the MLB Commissioner's office over former Nationals pitcher Gary Majewski, claiming that he went onto the disabled list with shoulder problems after only 11 games with the Reds, and as such, he was "damaged goods" when the Nationals unloaded him.

To this, I kind of want to roll my eyes and say, "Whatever!" (Though whenever I hear someone say,"It's in the hands of the lawyers", I want to run like hell.)
